When I say computing, I mean Linux.
Yes, true, there are other operating systems in the world, and more
have been and gone by. You can read a short story of what I've been using along the years.
I've been involved in quite a lot of things in these years with Linux:
- Large Size
- Book95
- an event reconstruction program for the NA43 experiment at CERN
- Collect
- a data collection program for the CAMAC bus
- METicket
- a ticketing and booking system. Later it became tick@
- Medium size
- PAW++ - the porting to Linux and MooTiff. One of the things i'm most proud of.
- MLOG - log files clean-up, mailing and archival
- vwstat - "driver" for web statistics programs that automatically runs them on multiple virtual hosts
- rpm_upd - automatical update of a RedHat system, respecting uninstalled or modified packages
- Linuxconf translation to Italian - largely incomplete.
- getmail - a dialup mail helper
- Small size
Well, lots of people does, so i'll do the same stupid thing -
here is my computer. (1998)
